Why so special? The secret of our Benitoites

Why so special? The secret of our Benitoites

Have you ever heard of the gem stone, Benitoite?

With it's absolute sparkle and intellect color, they are extremely popular among jewel collectors. However, they are only found in one single mine, the Diablo mine, San Benito County, California. Over more, the mine was shut down in 2005. This means that there are a limited number of Benitoites in the market place. Among the limited stones, there are only few stones with the rich blue that is said to be high quality.

We selected only benitoites with the richest blue that satisfy us. Most benitoites in the market place are like the left one in the picture below, with a weak, bare blue. But we carefully selected stones with a certain rich blue, like the one on the right.

Benitoites are said to have a brighter shine than diamonds. They have a strong fire (the refraction of light that occurs through a gem stone) and create a band of color like a rainbow.

We put these absolutely gorgeous rings in detailed and delicate designs. Because of the rareness of the gem stones, there are only limited numbers of products. Don't miss them.
