Birth stones of December are Turquoises, Lapis lazulis, and Tanzanites.

Turquoise- Turquoises totally differ depending on where it's from. Our turquoises come from Arizona and  have the prettiest blue ever. Even the native Americans call them the stone of the sky.

Lapis lazulis- These are rarely seen as fine jewelry in a modern design. Who knew Lapis lazulis are so breath taking, as if you have the universe on your finger.

Tanzanites- Remember the sky changing colors from red to dark blue in the evening? Before it gets dark, the sky shows us a gorgeous purple, and that's the color tanzanites we have.

One of our favorite stones of all, Turquoises. Why are they always in masculine designs with large silver? Why are there no turquoise accessories that will suit feminine women? This simple thought was the beginning of turquoise in our Fleula collection.

Like the sky and sun look slightly different all over the world, turquoises have slightly different colors. For the Fleula collection we used Turquoises from a mine called Kingman, Arizona, which is globally known as the best producer of Turquoises. Turquoises from Kingman have a rich coloring with deep blue.

Turquoises are usually in Cabochon cuts, which are round cuts without flat surfaces. The more flat surfaces you add, the more difficult it is, so almost all turquoises in the market  are in cabochon cuts. This time we ordered a facet cut to a factory in Thailand which have rich experience with Turquoises and high techniques. Facet cuts are almost never seen in turquoises.

    Only for sophisticated ladies-

Since the jewel has an absolutely dreamy sky blue, we did our best to put them in a delicate design. Inspired by antique jewelry.

Enjoy the delicate design for everyday. To work, on a date and on the weekends. It will suit all situations that sophisticated ladies face.

In yellow gold, pink gold, and white gold.

Turquoises- known as December's birthstones, totally differ depending on where they are from. Our turquoises in the Selena collection come from a mine called Sleeping Beauty in Arizona.

Like the sky and sun look slightly different all over the world, turquoises have slightly different colors. Arizona is globally known as the best producer of Turquoises. With no artificial processes, only turquoises from this single mine has the most pure and noble blue of all.

The Selena collection has a Marquise shape cut with the details of facet cut, that is relatively rare for turquoises this size. We, Bizoux, personally order this cut to the only atelier in Japan that have the right to process turquoises.

We have produced a special texture on our Selena collection in order to make the dazzling jewel shine even more. Antique- that's what we aimed for. Use several tools to apply small and large scratches, and then polish the necklace again, and do the same thing from the top. By doing this process again and again, the ring becomes more like an actual antique item.

Large appearance with one of the largest tanzanites, but with sophisticated details. That is why you will want to wear it everywhere anytime.

The bluer the better- That's what people used to say about tanzanites, so most tanzanites get "heat treatments". Therefore, tanzanites in the market places are usually blue as the night sky on the coldest days. However, recently the value of tanzanites' natural beauty are being noticed.

With heat treatments, tanzanites become as blue as possible, but the other color tones disappear. Once you look into the tanzanites with no heat treatments, you will see the perfectly balanced mixture of blue and purple.

Not all natural tanzanites have this color. We were lucky enough to find these at one of the world's largest Jewelry show in Hong Kong. Only 0.1 % of all tanzanites have this sparkle and well-balanced color without heat treatments.

Among thousands of high quality tanzanites, we found the best ones with the most dramatic colors. The stone in the right side of the picture below is a tanzanite you will often see in the market with a pale coloring. We only use tanzanites with rich coloring that fully satisfy us, like the one on the left.

To maximize the color and brilliance of the bluest stone of all, we kept the ring simple as possible. The combination of the thin arm, and the fine quality gold is only feasible by Bizoux's craftsmen with rich experiences.

The sparkle and color of Tanzanites differs depending on the time of day and the lighting. Enjoy the dramatic change that they present under different situations!
